Get on board of a real fishing vessel and live in first person the intense experience of a day of fishing. Discover the charming little fishing villages of The Amalfi Coast and the Sorrentine Penisula. You will see the typical fishing villages with beaches reachable only by boat and accessible just if you are escorted by locals. You will also learn several fishing techniques and explore all the fishing areas off-shore. An amazing tour over the sea and its traditions that will allow you to practice the traditional fishing activity with the assistance of nice friendly native fishermen.

TOUR DESCRIPTION

You will have the chance to live an unforgettable experience. Have fun and relax at same time. Try to learn the different fishing techniques choosing among our three types of local fishing:
– The Squid Fishing, which takes place at night and is done using a special fishing line named “Totanara”. It is a great emotion to see a Red Squid emerging from the sea;
– The Tow Fishing which is used to catch Blue Fishes like amberjack, tuna, saddled bream, and pilot fish; – The Bolentino Fishing for Blue Fishes like horse mackerel, mackerel, sea bream.

Don’t forget hat, towel and sun cream! During your fishing experience, you will have a lovely relaxing time, swimming in the magnificent inlets of the Coastline.
At the end of the day, it will be possible to taste the catch aboard that will be cooked according to the ancient traditional recipes; If you don’t catch enough fishes, don’t worry, we will take you to an amazing restaurant to taste the local fish. You will eat by the sea while enjoying a spectacular sunset!

Tour Plan

• Welcome refreshments offered to the guests.
• Departure for the point of interest (Capri or Positano) and start of the fishing trip, with the help of an experienced fisherman.
• Stop of approx. 2 hours to explore Capri or Positano by land.
• Once back on board, enjoy some free time for swimming and snorkelling.
• Happy hour and refreshments.
• Start of the second part of the fishing trip.
• Stop for lunch: you will taste typical Campania specialties and the catch of the day.
• Return to the port of Sorrento.
