Traditional feasts, locally called Sagre, come from the simple and ancient concept of popular festivals. They are an occasion for conviviality and promotion of local products and our culinary traditions.
There are different festivals all over the towns and they offer all kinds of Southern Italy products.
The following ones take place in Salerno:

– A’ chiena at Campagna (the river is deflected through the town of Campagna) in late July
– Pizzafest in August-September
– Mediterranean video festival (Paestum) in September
– Hot air balloon festival (Paestum) in October
– Luci d’artista and the enchanted garden of Minerva in December
