TOUR DESCRIPTION

You will discover hidden places full of history, mythology and traditions. This in one of ways to feel the real southern Italian atmosphere. The tour will be escorted by English speaking, professional and authorized guides, it takes around 4 hours as you will walk for around 8 km.
This is the Gods’ chosen pathway to reach the sea. “The sentiero degli Dei” is an extraordinarily panoramic walk across the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy the magnificent views of the Amalfi Coast and the island of Capri. It is a special experience because of the sensation you will feel. It is like walking on the sky.
The Path of the Gods, despite the name, is also an extraordinary example of the work of human beings, who managed throughout the centuries to colonize even the most impracticable locations of the region. Walking in this spectacular scenery, there will be the occasion to meet local shepherds and farmers eventually. They still work and live in this little corner of heaven facing every day the difficulties of their hard job with passion and devotion, a trademark of the people here in Southern Italy. Through old vineyards, terraces, farmhouses and monasteries, suspended at 650 meters above the sea level, you will have the feeling to walk in a painting with an ever-changing landscape. There are no roads, that means no cars and chaos. You will then continue across the chain of Monti Lattari (Milky Mountains). They are all called like this for the rich vegetation used for goats, sheep and kettle. A local guide will tell you where carob trees, rosemary and blueberry bushes are as they all grow wild in this area
